Tennessee + Missouri = Love.

I met my husband 5 years ago on FarmersOnly and it's been absolutely amazing! I lived in East Tennessee on my family's farm and John lived in Southern Missouri with his own cow/calf pair operation. We were several (hundred) miles apart, but decided that our connection was strong enough to give it a shot! - Elise

What towns/states are y'all from?

I (Elise) am from Maryville, Tennessee and John is from St Louis, Missouri, but he left the city as soon as he could and he never went back!  After college he landed in West Plains, Missouri and that's where we are today!

What did you do on your first date?

We drove to Dickson,  Tennessee to meet and ate at a little Mexican restaurant and talked for hours!

When did you know that he was the one?

I remember thinking "well,  crap!" as soon as I saw him in person because he was even more handsome than his pictures!  The second I saw him I knew I would be moving to Missouri!

What is your favorite thing about each other?

John is the hardest worker I have ever known and he's very intelligent, but my favorite thing today is what an awesome father he is to our little boy!  He says his favorite thing is my smile (...and then asked me why I wanted to know that at 6:30am on a Monday morning!)

They just celebrated their one year wedding anniversary

I just wanted to share a success story. My husband and I met on farmers only. A friend suggested I sign up and a cousin of my husband signed him up without him knowing it. We were both involved in agriculture before and now we farm and ranch together in Missouri. We just celebrated our first year anniverary and everyone loves our story and can’t believe we met on this site! But its true! We found common interests together, found out we have common backgrounds, and are enjoying a great time of it! Just wanted to share! - Rachel. What towns/states are y'all from? Rachel's from Collinsville, Oklahoma, Paul's from Eldridge, Missouri.

What did you do on your first date? Went on a picnic, shot some guns, and talked for about 6 hours that day!

When did you know that he was the one? The first time I gave him a haircut before we were even engaged and I almost blurted out "I love you!"

How did he propose? Paul surprised me with a sunset dinner at my favorite spot on the farm, on the top of a prairie meadow hill in Afton, Oklahoma that has been in the family for several generations. He got down on one knee and I was in shock for the next 30 minutes before I said yes. (Obviously I was surprised.)

What is your favorite thing about each other? My favorite thing about Paul is that he is even-tempered, he doesn't get upset easily and takes things in stride, making us a great match. Paul's favorite thing about Rachel is her beautiful blue eyes.

Recently got engaged!

I became a member in early 2013 to Farmers only and started talking with people shortly after. My hope started dwindling towards the end of my subscription, though I had one more flirt alert and went for it. That decision started it all and Jason and I began talking. In April of 2013 we had our first face to face date.
Shortly after this in May we began dating and have been by each other's side ever since. We have been together now for 3 1/2 years and recently got engaged in August 2016 and are to wed in Sept. 2017.

I refused to get on a dating website...

My mom and grandma set me up on FarmersOnly.com because I refused to get on a dating website.

My boyfriends best friends wife set him up because he refused too. We started talking in January of 2016. I gave up my job and house and we are now living together in his town and house! We are very much in love!

I have a 2 year old daughter who he adores and loves very much.

Thanks Farmer'sOnly!

Tim (Uncle 007) and I met on Farmers 3 years ago last month (7/13)...

We are technically still "dating" but are planning on building a home together right now. We are both divorced, and in no hurry to repeat old mistakes, but we are VERY happy together.

We love to travel, and we are now planning our third cruise together. We also love telling people how we met...Tim especially enjoys sharing our story with our dinner partners on cruises, and the topic always gets some surprising responses!
