Honey Farmers- Friday Farm Fact

Oh, the little honey bee. So misunderstood by many. This week our Friday Farm Fact is a shout out to these busy little farmers. Did you know that "On average, a worker bee in the summer lasts six to eight weeks. Their most common cause of death is wearing their wings out"? Talk about a case of working to death! All for about 1/2 the honey you put in your morning tea. You can read all about these little honey farmers here:http://www.abfnet.org/index.cfm

Respect the honey bee. He is working his stinger off just like you.
