My Favorite Chicken Dinner

One of my absolute favorite chicken recipes. It is amazing, yummy, and everyone pretty much seems to love it. The guys devour it, the kids always say "this is really good". So, I must be doing something right!

2 packages of ranch dressing

2 cans Cream of Chicken soup6 or 7 chicken breastsPut the chicken in a crock pot. Mix together the soup and ranch powder. Pour over top. Cook for about 4 hours on high or 6 on low. When I serve this I typically make mashed potatoes to go along with it because the sauce from the crock pot is the perfect gravy. To make perfect mashed potatoes... (My niece always gives me a thumbs up when she has them!)15 potatoes (I always think about 2 per person, and then add a few more..then a few more. Extra is always good!)1 package of cream cheesestick of buttersalt and pepper to tasteFew dollops of sour creamFew splashes of milkBoil potatoes until they are mashable. While I am cooking them I add the cream cheese and butter to a large mixing bowl. Drain the potatoes add to bowl. Using a hand mixer beat them until nice and smooth. Add in the milk and sour cream as you are mixing. Sprinkle on the salt and pepper towards the end, give another good mix and you are ready to roll. Sometimes for extra added flavor I throw in a couple of chicken bouillon cubes to the boiling potatoes.
