My fiancé and I met on FarmersOnly in May of 2014. He is absolutely the best man that I know, and I could never hope for anyone better than him. I cannot thank FarmersOnly enough for bringing us together.
We only talked online for a few weeks, before we went on our first date. I hadn’t ever met anyone online before, and I was rather nervous when we went on our first date. In true country girl fashion, and trying to be somewhat cautious; instead of meeting him at either of our houses, he met me at a Western Store because every country girl needs another new pair of boots. Little did he know, I had several heard horror stories about people meeting online and so again in true country girl fashion, I carried my revolver in the car with me on our first date. He likes to joke around that after over a year together that my Judge still has the same bullets in it. We had a whirlwind summer of truck and tractor pulls, fairs, weddings, and even hospital stays as he just found out he has severe food allergies. I told him I knew I had completely fallen in love with him when he went to the hospital and I couldn’t get to him fast enough. I couldn’t let him be there by himself, I had to let him know how much I cared for him, and when the only words out of his mouth when he was coming out of anesthesia was “You are the so beautiful,” I knew he felt the same!
After only 6 months together, he proposed and we will be getting married in a outdoor ceremony at a little outdoor chapel in Mid Missouri on October 24, 2015. We are planning on using the FarmersOnly jingle as we walk down the aisle after the ceremony! I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend, and love. I have never met a more gentle and understanding man, and one of these days he is going to make a fantastic father. Darren and I are going to start to try and adopt children from foster care very soon! We can’t wait to have a family together!
